NEFERTITI
Nefertiti
Gyllene snittet. Nefertiti.

Nefertiti: Drawing Board Beauty
Nefertiti's chin, mouth, and nose, and the uraeus cobra are placed along the vertical axis of the face. The nostrils are exactly one finger distant from each side of this median line; the outer ends of the eyebrows are three fingers from the median line and the center of each ear is four fingers.
That seems correct. Just take a Nefertiti image, superimpose a regular grid, and you can see that her facial features fall upon gridlines. Each eye is three squares wide, with the iris being one square in width. The nose is four squares wide, and the corners of the eyes are separated by four squares. In fact, the nostrils and corners of the eyes form a perfect square.
I don't think this was done for numerological reasons -- it's possible the artisans of the time used a simple grid system to record and convey portraits.
Nefertiti - one of the world's most famous women, apparently had wrinkles and a bump in her nose in real life. The Nefertiti bust--known throughout the world for its classic beauty, high cheekbones and smooth appearance--was recently scanned via computed tomography (CT scan) in Berlin where the original limestone sculpture underneath the polished stucco showed creases near Nefertiti's mouth, less prominent cheekbones and a bump in her nose.

German researchers, led by Dr. Alexander Huppertz, director of the Imaging Science Institute in Berlin, used today's technology to uncover this more realistic Nefertiti hidden beneath the more idealized version of Egypt's most celebrated queen. According to the AP, Huppertz noted, "Until we did this scan, how deep the stucco was and whether a second face was underneath it was unknown. The hypothesis was that the stone underneath was just a support.
And who got a bump in her nose in real life? I know.
